Consider the scenario and outline your proposed approach to resolving it.  Make reference to any relevant clauses you would expect to find in a contract (for example, Dispute Resolution, Invoicing and Payment, Warranty, Insurance etc).  Identify any issues that may require escalation.

Your contractor has been having problems getting their invoicing right.  They do not seem able to provide a “correctly rendered” invoice.  This has been causing some problems for the accounts payable area, and you know that the contractor has been unhappy that some invoices have been paid late.  The main reason for this is that if the invoices are not correctly rendered, then payment cannot be made.  The contractor’s work has been timely and of a high standard.
